It was a warm and sunny Wednesday afternoon and winter wasn’t taking action completely. We, third polimodal, were travelling to San Martín de los Andes and Bariloche the following Friday. That’s the reason why only five students showed up at school that afternoon. We were round the corridors wondering what we would do, while the rest of the school was in class.
The sun was powerfully shining and the school looked great! The kids of 9th form were at their desks doing some work on the grass, under the sun. This is what I really like, what we should value. Relaxed, but still working, it felt everything was calm. Working that way is not so boring and tedious. Some girls here, some boys there, friendly together they were all working. Freedom is what we all want, always using and not abusing.
The one who wants to get a sun tan sits in one side, looking to the sun while the one who doesn’t, looking to the other side. Who wants shadow, under the tree. In groups, alone, making a circle altogether… in any way!
I think that one of the things we will all really miss when we leave this green-wherever-you-look place is working outside, under the sun, watching the mountains, watching more green. Don’t tell me you don’t like it!
